Are you interested in knowing what development is occurring on and around Daniel Island and how that affects our resources and quality of life? The Development/Land Use Committee is for you.
Are you concerned about our streets being resurfaced, we can use your input on the Street Maintenance & Improvements Committee.
Are you good with social media or writing newsletters? We can use your skills on the Communications Committee.
Work with our first responders and legislators for improvements related to parking, road markings, signage, traffic calming and pedestrian safety.

Facilitate an orderly transition of Daniel Island Town Association (DITA) and Daniel Island Park Association (DIPA) from a developer controlled board to a resident controlled board.

Addresses issues related to parking, sidewalks, road markings, signage and traffic enforcement.

Works with Berkeley County and City of Charleston on road resurfacing and maintenance needs.
Chair: Mac McBride
Follows plans for all development pertaining to Daniel Island and surrounding areas.
Chair: John Cowan
Worked with the City of Charleston on plans for construction of the Daniel Island Recreation Center, which opened in 2021.
